ABOUT US

Russian Association of Hospice Care Professionals, partner of Worldwide Hospice of Palliative care Alliance, American Eurasian Cancer Alliance, PACED and other leading international palliative care groups have become proactively engaged by mobilizing all efforts by developing most updated palliative care resources amid challenging COVID-19 pandemic. By unifying Russian best-experienced experts, renown institutions, recognized leaders in the organization of PC, charitable organizations and volunteers, the Association of Hospice Care Professionals has demonstrated its stronger than ever commitment to patients and PC professionals at this difficult times and able to streamline relevant and valuable content for the special issue of its quarterly "PALLIUM" magazine. The purpose of this unique publication is to introduce best and specific to Russia material as a reference to all palliative care specialists working under the pressure of pandemic throughout Russian Federations, CIS perimeter and beyond.

The Hospice Care Professionals Association was first presented on the 21st of October 2014. The founder of the Association is Irina Yasina – a well-known human rights activist, publicist, palliative care patient and the author of the book “Case history”. Diana Nevzorova became the Chairman of the Board. Diana is a Moscow Hospice №1 named after Vera Millionshikova head physician, Chief Expert on Palliative Care of the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation. Executive committee members: heads of the charity funds “Vera”, “Children's palliative”, “ORBI”, and “It’s fun getting old”.

Association unites physicians, leaders of the patients’ communities, patients, medical organizations providing palliative and hospice care, charity funds etc.

The Association works on the territory of Russian Federation.
